Day 72: Chip Taylor
Haha, when I saw this at the SF Library Used Book Sale, I just had to get it. It was only $1 and honestly, I probably won’t become a die-hard Chip Taylor fan. Country music in general sorta makes me sleepy. But regardless, Chip Taylor has wedged itself into a special place in my heart, solely because in the movie In the Family, Chip Taylor is the father’s favorite singer and the music reminds the boy of his father. It’s probably not the best reason and sorta melodramatic but hey, it reminds me of how when I was a kid, my father used to play Eagles in the car all the time, and that music reminds me of my father. And now, so does Chip Taylor.
